Τα Golden Joystick Awards, τα οποία διεξάγονται εδώ και 38 χρόνια, επανέρχονται στις 23 Νοεμβρίου με την αντίστοιχη μετάδοση σε Twitch και Youtube και υπόσχονται συγκινήσεις αλλά και πολλούς (σχετικά αναμενόμενους νικητές).

Η καταλληλότητα για υποψηφιότητα βασίζεται στην ημερομηνία κυκλοφορίας, με τους τίτλους να έχουν κυκλοφορήσει μεταξύ 20 Νοεμβρίου 2020 και την ημερομηνία της υποψηφιότητας. Οι νικητές αποφασίζονται από παίκτες που ψηφίζουν όσο προλαβαίνουν, με την ψηφοφορία να παραμένει ενεργή έως τις 6 Νοεμβρίου.
