Μια νέα συλλογή για το Metal Gear, με τίτλο Metal Gear Solid: Master Collection Vol. 1 θα κυκλοφορήσει για το Switch στις 24 Οκτωβρίου 2023.
Η συλλογή θα περιλαμβάνει τα Metal Gear Solid, Metal Gear Solid 2: Sons of Liberty, Metal Gear Solid 3: Snake Eater, Metal Gear και Metal Gear 2 (τα δύο τελευταία προσβάσιμα μέσα από το MGS1). Τα τρία κύρια παιχνίδια της σειράς MGS θα είναι επίσης διαθέσιμα χωριστά στο eShop.
Επιπλέον περιεχόμενο θα είναι διαθέσιμο σε μορφή ψηφιακών μυθιστορημάτων, βιβλίων σεναρίου, οδηγών στρατηγικής και ψηφιακών soundtrack.
