Τα Metroidvanias δείχνουν να μην έχουν σταματημό με ένα ακόμα να κάνει την εμφάνισή του. Το 9 Years of Shadows είναι ο νέος τίτλος της Halberg Studios ο οποίοες αναμένεται να κυκλοφορήσει μέσα στο 2022.
Αν και δεν έχουμε πάρα πολλές πληροφορίες για το gameplay του τίτλου είναι εύκολο να καταλάβουμε πως πρόκειται για ένα ακόμα Brutal Pixel Metroidvania με μουσική από μεγάλα ονόματα της βιομηχανίας όπως του Manami Matsumae (Mega Man), Michiru Yamane (Castlevania) και Norihiko Hibino (Metal Gear).
